Conflict Minerals Statement
Control Cable is a contract manufacturer of cable assemblies, wire harnesses, and box builds and as such, our customers control the bill of materials and approved supplier list. Control Cable is a closely held company that does not file reports with the SEC, and are therefore not bound by the Conflict Minerals provision of the Dodd-Frank Act. However, we recognize that many of our customers are. In support of these customers, Control Cable will undertake reasonable due diligence within our supply chain to sourcing products and materials from non-conflict sources.
Control Cable does not directly purchase any Conflict Minerals from any source and does not knowingly procure any product containing Conflict Minerals from the Conflict Region. As an ongoing effort, we are actively surveying our supply chain and currently have not confirmed any “conflict minerals”, as defined in “Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, as well as California Senate Bill 861” in our supply chain. “Conflict materials” are defined as using materials from the Democratic Republic of the Congo or any adjoining countries (“DRC Countries”) in the manufacture of their products.
